Former Panthers bid farewell to Carolina

The business side of the NFL assures that players will shift from one team to another, but there’s another side as well.

Six players who were all Panthers just three weeks ago and who all spent at least parts of the last three seasons in Carolina found new homes over the last week. During that process, they paused to reflect on time well spent with the Panthers.

Fullback Mike Tolbert, who was released before the start of free agency, signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills. Tolbert posted 992 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns along with 771 receiving yards and six touchdowns in five seasons with Carolina.
