To say that the Carolina Panthers upgraded this offseason at the wide receiver position would be a major understatement. Not only did the team draft Devin Funchess, bring back Ted Ginn Jr. and sign Jarrett Boykin to pair with Kelvin Benjamin, but they also return Stephen Hill and Corey Brown as well.
So, does that leave Brenton Bersin as the odd man out? Not according to David Newton of ESPN.
"Don’t bet against Bersin, who last season became the first Wofford player to make an NFL roster since team owner Jerry Richardson played for the NFL champion Baltimore Colts in 1959.
