It is no secret that the Carolina Panthers are evaluating running backs for the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft but when the selection will come remains a mystery. One of those potential running backs being tested at this week’s NFL Combine is Elijah Hood.
Hood is a Charlotte native, having played his high school football for Charlotte Catholic before attending the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Originally committed to Notre Dame, Hood decided to de-commit and become a Tar Heel.
Now he is looking to become an NFL running back.
In three seasons at UNC, Hood rushed for 2,580 yards and 29 touchdowns.
