Bio
Gerry saw action as a linebacker as a freshman, making three starts. Transitioned to safety, and started all 13 games as a sophomore, and led the team in interceptions (5) and was second in tackles (88). Named a team captain as a true junior, Gerry led the team in tackles (79) and interceptions (4) in 2015.
My pre-season thoughts
After leading the team with five picks as a sophomore, Gerry turned into the Huskers' leading tackler as a junior. A great hitter in the open field.
