Denver Broncos safety sent home over prostitution incident

SAN JOSE, CALIF.

Days after Carolina Panthers broadcaster Eugene Robinson warned the team about Super Bowl temptations, a Denver Broncos player was sent home Tuesday following an incident in northern California.

The Broncos dismissed practice-squad safety Ryan Murphy after he was involved in a prostitution sting in San Jose. He and his brother were intercepted by law enforcement while interacting with a prostitute Monday evening, according to reports. Murphy’s brother was charged.

Robinson addressed the Panthers before they left for the Bay Area about a similar situation when he played for the Atlanta Falcons in 1999.
