The Carolina Panthers are certainly in an envious situation when it comes to the running back position as they could have too much talent. The group of Jonathan Stewart, Christian McCaffrey, Fozzy Whittaker and Cameron Artis-Payne have played well this preseason and could force the team to cut a productive player.
The decision would essentially come down to Whittaker and Artis-Payne but both have shown the can be valuable contributors to this team. Whittaker has proven to be a good change of pace back for this offense the past few years but also has been a key contributor on special teams.
