Charles Tillman's addition to the 2015 Panthers can't be quantified purely by his on-field play. His leadership in the secondary and presence in the locker room are the lasting impacts we will remember. Sadly, we won't see him on the field again after Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer confirmed that Tillman sustained a torn ACL in the Panthers win over Tampa Bay on Sunday,
The news is a blow, but a somewhat expected one. Tillman partially tore his ACL against the Tennessee Titans earlier in the season and knew the risk of a full tear if he tried to play on his knee.
