Apparently, when CJ was ready to shed the "Big Money" label, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, wanted him to maximize his value elsewhere.
In a short interview with David Newton of ESPN (*groan* I know...) Charles Johnson was not shy about talking about his return to the Carolina Panthers for less money.
"Drew was close to getting fired because of that," said Johnson with a bit of a laugh. "Cause Drew, you know, he wants the best for you. He wants to max out everything possible."
I don't think it is any surprise to anyone here that an agent, especially one as well known as Drew Rosenhaus, would want his client to sign for maximum value.
