In January, Panthers legend Greg Olsen announced his retirement after 14 seasons in the NFL to begin his post-football career in broadcasting. Olsen played for three teams during his time in the league (Panthers, Bears and Seahawks) but is mostly known for his 9-year tenure in Charlotte as the Panthers’ go-to target at tight end.
The Panthers acquired Olsen from the Bears in 2011 for a 2012 third round pick, and I think it’s safe to say the Panthers won the trade*.
