In what was initially a 9.5 point spread, it has now grown to 10 points. That tells me the early money was on the Carolina Panthers. Last week I mentioned if you could bet the Panthers would challenge the New Orleans Saints on the road you could have made some money, and as it turns out you would have. I didn’t take that bet, but wish I had. I caution you though for letting that result affect your thinking this week. We know these Panthers tend to play to the level of the competition. Ten points is a pretty big spread.
