Carolina Panthers: What’s next with Benjamin out

“Obviously, we feel awful for Kelvin. He’s worked tremendously hard to put himself in position to have a strong year.”

Those words were spoken by the GM of the Carolina Panthers, Dave Gettleman, in reaction to word that the number one wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers, Kelvin Benjamin, will miss the 2015 season with a torn ACL.

A crushing blow for the Panthers, who initially reported the injury was only a sprained knee, before an MRI revealed what was feared – a torn ACL.

Benjamin was injured during the joint training camp practice with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday morning.
