The Carolina Panthers did not make any moves during Tuesday’s busy trade deadline, and I am okay with that. Sure, big names found new homes with other teams, but the fact of the matter is that the Panthers don’t need much in order to contend. In addition, by not doing anything at the deadline, they sent a message to their fans and the rest of the league.
That message is simple: the Carolina Panthers are comfortable with the players that they have and feel that this roster can contend for a Super Bowl title. As some of you may recall, they already did their fair share of dealing earlier in the year.
