As the season continues, injuries are beginning to pile up for the Carolina Panthers. After losing franchise quarterback Cam Newton early in the year, the Panthers added two more names to the list of those who will not return in 2019 last week. Guard Greg Van Roten and defensive tackle Dontari Poe both exited New Orleans with foot and quad injuries, respectively.
In addition to these two significant injuries, Carolina also had a handful of other players who are dealing with problems from last week and beyond. All but mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, the recent rash of issues only adds to the problems facing coach Ron Rivera as he attempts to stave off rumors of being replaced.
