The Carolina Panthers were able to strike first on the scoreboard thanks to a Graham Gano field goal on their opening drive. However, the New York Jets responded with their own field goal on the next drive.
The Panthers though started to pull away with nine unanswered points to jump out to a 12-3 lead. The Jets closed the gap to 12-10 at the end of the second quarter with a touchdown of their own.
These are some key notes from the first half for the Carolina Panthers.
Devin Funchess leading the way
The Panthers are certainly thankful to have Greg Olsen back but it is Devin Funchess that is putting on the show in Week 12 against the Jets.
