There will be plenty of training camp battles to watch over the next month for the Carolina Panthers. A majority of them will revolve around a starting job however the backup center battle is one worth watching due to Ryan Kalil’s injury history. The person who backs up Kalil will need to be ready at a moment’s notice to step in and produce.
This battle will come down to Gino Gradkowski, who is the veteran, and Tyler Larsen, who saw time at the position last year.
Thrown into the fire, in the midst of a west coast road trip Tyler Larsen got his first action of the season against the Oakland Raiders.
