Carolina Panthers: Thursday Reading

In a surprise move, yesterday Carolina released cornerback Josh Norman, who was picked in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. David Newton at ESPN thinks he’s one of the greatest steals in the league. Now, thanks to a gross miscalculation by his agent, he will miss out on $14 million guaranteed in 2016.

Not many people think he’s worth that kind of money. Asked who the best cornerbacks in the NFL are earlier this week, Chris Harris of the Denver Broncos took a shot at Norman. According to Black and Blue Review, he said Norman has only been good one year.
