It's been a busy day in Charlotte for the Carolina Panthers on the second day of free agency. To end it, they agreed to terms with a familiar face in nickel back specialist Captain Munnerlyn, a big need for the defense.
Munnerlyn left Carolina after the 2013 season for Minnesota to get paid and understandably. He was another player and friend defensive end Charles Johnson was lobbying for to come home. The former South Carolina Gamecock did just that.
Speaking of Charles Johnson, the Panthers signed a second one, only this plays wide receiver. Another teammate of Munnerlyn and Matt Kalil, Panthers picked him up to help in the slot position after the losses of Philly Brown and Ted Ginn.
