The Carolina Panthers have signed rookie wide receiver/return specialist Greg Dortch to their practice squad. Dortch was previously on the Panthers 53-man roster but was released when they claimed running back Mike Davis off of waivers.

This is the next step in the baffling of the former Wake Forest wide receiver. Dortch signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent and ended up on their practice squad to start the season.
