The Carolina Panthers have added safety Dezmen Southward to their practice squad to replace Josh Hawkins, who was activated to the 53-man roster last week when Da’Norris Searcy was placed on injured reserve.
Safety Dezmen Southward, who appeared in one game last year between practice squad stints, has been added back to the p-squad. Space opened when CB Josh Hawkins was promoted to the 53.
