The Carolina Panthers have signed defensive back Cole Luke to a one-year contract extension, according to an announcement by the team’s Twitter account.
Luke has spent most of his time with the Panthers on injured reserve and the practice squad, but he did appear in eight games last season and registered two tackles.
Luke played in eight games last season after being elevated from the practice squad, tallying two tackles. He spent the entire 2018 season on Carolina’s practice squad. He spent almost all of his rookie season in 2017 on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
