Carolina Panthers sign defenders Jameson Houston and Austin Larkin

The Carolina Panthers have announced the signing of two new defensive players this morning. They are third-year pro Austin Larkin, a defensive end, and rookie Jameson Houston, a cornerback.

Larkin has bounced around the league since joining as an undrafted free agent in 2018. His career has taken him through the Dallas Cowboys, limited game action with the Atlanta Falcons, and even a brief tenure with the Alliance of American Football League’s San Antonio Commanders.

Houston, meanwhile, is an undrafted free agent rookie out of Baylor where he spent four years playing for new Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule and his defensive coordinator Phil Snow.
