Michael Lombardi, a former NFL General Manager, recently said on ‘The Ringer NFL Podcast’ that Richard Sherman could be available, which should interest the Carolina Panthers.
Lombardi said, “based on what I hear around the National Football League is that the Seattle Seahawks would in fact for the right deal trade Richard Sherman.”
If this is true, Carolina Panthers’ GM Dave Gettleman should at least pick up the phone to see what the cost might be. If the price isn’t too steep, this is a deal that would make too much sense.
The cornerback position was the weakest position for the Carolina Panthers last year after they let Josh Norman walk during the offseason.
