The Carolina Panthers have selected former Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Terry Godwin with the No. 237 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
This is basically a free pick since it’s the selection that Carolina received when they traded down from the No. 187 pick in the sixth round. With that being said, Godwin is a good route runner and could sneak onto the 53-man roster as a depth option at wide receiver. The 5-foot-11, 184 lbs receiver isn’t the fastest guy on the field, but he’s described by scouts as having ‘soft hands and good field awareness’.
