The Carolina Panthers have another player on the NFL’s Top 100 list, as running back Christian McCaffrey was voted by his peers as the No. 42 overall player heading into the 2019 season.
This is McCaffrey’s first time being ranked in the NFL’s Top 100, and it probably won’t be his last. The superstar running back burst onto the scene last year with 1098 rushing yards, 867 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns (seven rushing, six receiving). McCaffrey flirted with becoming the third player in the history of the NFL with 1000 rushing yards and 1000 receiving yards in a single season, but unfortunately he was unable to get to 1000 receiving yards to join Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig as the only players to accomplish the feat.
