The Carolina Panthers are entering the new decade under the leadership of head coach Matt Rhule, and with any head coaching change there is an expectation of a rebuilding phase to mold the team according to the new coach’s vision. The same can be said about the Panthers, and a report from ESPN’s Jenna Laine suggests the team is open to trading Pro Bowl guard Trai Turner.
Turner would certainly be a desirable trade target for teams whose competitive window is currently more open than Carolina’s. He’s only 26 years old, has been to five straight Pro Bowls and has a team friendly contract.
