Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Norv Turner never truly got to enjoy his first full season with the team as injuries decimated the offense. Since training camp last season, the Panthers lost multiple offensive linemen, shuffling through different combinations of players and signing new ones just to piece together protection weekly.
Wide receiver Curtis Samuel missed a few early season games and veteran tight end Greg Olsen continually battled foot issues. Ultimately, quarterback Cam Newton would struggle with his throwing shoulder from midway through the season and despite the adversity, Carolina still remained in playoff contention until late.
