Ding, ding, ding – the sound of the bell to start a boxing match. A common sound any boxing fan knows will go off before two guys slug it out for a scheduled 12 round bout. This match is ideal to stay in the ring, in front of a large audience and the top notch matches taking place in Las Vegas.
But, on Wednesday afternoon, it was almost like a Las Vegas boxing match came to Charlotte and involved multiple guys, instead of two boxers. Blame it on the heat,
“I think the heat got the best of us,” coach Rivera said
or blame it on the fact this was the next to last day of minicamp before the Panthers break until July for training camp, but either way tempers flared and punches were exchanged between several key guys.
