Carolina Panthers injury update: Cam Newton’s X-rays were negative and he was diagnosed with a sprained foot, per reports

The Carolina Panthers have possibly avoided a complete disaster as it appears that franchise quarterback Cam Newton only suffered a sprained left foot after leaving the game in the first half of last night’s preseason game with the New England Patriots.

Source says that, after x-rays, Panthers QB Cam Newton was diagnosed with a sprain in his left foot. Team will know more tomorrow.

Newton was sacked by Adam Butler and appeared to be grimacing in pain following the play.
