Seven years after Julius Peppers left the Carolina Panthers for the Chicago Bears, he is returning to the team that selected him second overall in the 2002 NFL Draft.
The veteran pass rusher will now join a position group that includes Mario Addison, Wes Horton and former teammate Charles Johnson. The hope is that this group, with the addition of Peppers, will be able to build off last year’s success when they finished second in the league in sacks (47).
In determining the grade for the Panthers signing Julius Peppers, it is broken down into four categories (player, team fit, team need and contract) and each category is worth up to 25 points.
