Carolina Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson should have a great year. However, by the standards he set last season, he should be in for a down year. It would be his own fault if he did, but it’s not because he will be playing poorly.
Jackson performed well enough last season that he will now have the ability to take away an entire side of the football field. For him, it will be the right side of the football field that he probably won’t have to worry too much about come the fall. Recording four overall interceptions, and defending five passes, opposing offenses learned pretty quickly that Jackson was not someone they wanted to test in coverage.
