The Carolina Panthers have claimed defensive tackle Bruce Hector off waivers and waived wide receiver TreVontae Hights in a corresponding move, according to the team’s website.
Here’s a brief synopsis of Hector’s career from the team’s report of the transaction:
Hector originally signed with Philadelphia as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida in 2018. He appeared in eight games as a rookie, playing 82 snaps in a rotational role. After he was traded to the [Arizona] Cardinals in mid-August 2019, Arizona cut Hector just before the start of the regular season.
