By now, most people know the generous contribution Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson made to the victims of the terrible church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina last week. Taking a step back though, it is likely that Richardson did not want it to be known he donated $100,000.00 to these
families – that is just the kind of man he is. He would rather his impact is silent and not blown out of proportion, as he likely would not have wanted the recognition.
Richardson’s generosity and caring for others though clearly rubs off on his players, with Cam Newton leading the way, as on Monday, Newton visited with families of the victims in the church shooting at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
