Carolina Panthers general manager Marty Hurney and coach Ron Rivera finalized much of the 90-man roster by adding four more rookies following the NFL Draft. After turning their seven picks into one each round via some trades, the Panthers targeted many of their areas in need throughout the three day process.
On the first two days, a pass rusher (Brian Burns) and offensive tackle (Greg Little) preceded quarterback Will Grier, who was selected to provide depth and a potential future replacement for Cam Newton. The first drafted quarterback for Carolina since Newton in 2011, it will be interesting to see how his NFL future unfolds.
