According to the team’s site, the Panthers brought back Amini Silatolu after he sat out this past season.
Silatolu was a member of the Carolina Panthers from 2012 until his rookie contract expired after the 2015 season. He had a promising start to his career starting 15 games at guard as a rookie.
However, he has dealt with a number of injuries since that season and started a total of 13 games over the last three seasons with the Panthers.
This move provides depth for the Panthers along the offensive line as he can play both guard and even tackle if the need arises.
