The Carolina Panthers have selected wide receiver Devin Funchess in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. By taking the former Michigan wideout, the Panthers have fulfilled one of their biggest offseason needs. Carolina traded up 16 spots to secure Funchess’ selection, in exchange for the 57th, 89th, and 201st overall picks.

The Panthers traded their third and sixth-round picks to the St. Louis Rams to move up to the 41st overall pick in the draft. This seemed to come in response to the number of wide receivers that had already been taken.
