This episode gives you a chance to see what it’s like to play on Carolina’s defensive line. Coach Eric Washington was mic’d up throughout the preseason victory against the Tennessee Titans.
“It takes energy and attitude to rush! Let’s get them to third down, let’s get these guys behind the count, and like Charles (Johnson) said, make sure we’re gap controlled,” Washington told the D-linemen before the game. “Outperform their defense – that starts with us right here.”
After the game concluded, cameras captured a cool moment where Washington finds rookie defensive tackle Vernon Butler to offer some praise.
