Cam Newton Wins MVP, AP Offensive Player of the Year Award. Both First In Panthers History.

Cam Newton has won the Most Valuable Player award and Offensive Player of the Year award. Newton garnered 18 of 50 votes for Offensive Player of the Year award and 48 of 50 votes for the MVP award. Antonio Brown finished second with a total of ten votes in OPOY while Brady and Palmer each received one vote.

Newton has led the Panthers to a 15-1 record with 35 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns with only 10 interceptions. He ended the season with 3,837 passing yards and 636 rushing yards. Cam is the first player in NFL history with more than three seasons of at least 3,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards.
