Panther Nation was hit with some pretty big news on Tuesday afternoon when the team’s official site announced that quarterback Cam Newton would undergo surgery for a partial tear in his rotator cuff, as reported by Max Henson.
The injury was undisclosed prior to the announcement that said Newton suffered the ailment in the team’s Week 14 victory over the San Diego (now Los Angeles) Chargers.
