The Carolina Panthers are practicing ahead of their Week 3 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, and franchise quarterback Cam Newton is once again not participating. This is the third straight day Newton has missed practice after re-aggravating his sprained foot last Thursday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so it’s all but certain that he will not suit up on Sunday. Backup quarterback Kyle Allen is expected to start in Cam’s place.
