CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Food Truck Thursday was a hit at Bank of America Stadium.
In an effort to throw a little fun into lunch, the Carolina Panthers brought three food trucks to Bank of America Stadium to feed the players, coaches and staff.
One of them was “Smokn’ Aces’’ owned by quarterback Cam Newton, whose image is painted on both sides of the Carolina blue truck by California artist Mark Paul Deren.
Carolina coach Ron Rivera picked up the bill. The event was so popular that it’s likely to be a regular on Thursdays, minus Rivera paying.
