For the second time in three seasons, Carolina Panthers’ head coach Ron Rivera received Coach of the Year honors during the 2015 NFL Awards Night.
Over the last three seasons, the Panthers are a combined 34-13-1 under Rivera. For the first time in franchise history, the Panthers have won the NFC South division championship three years in a row (2013, 2014, 2015), and have represented the division in the playoffs.
For the first time in team history, the Panthers finished the regular season with a club record-best 15-1, and will face the Denver Broncos in the team’s second appearance in the Super Bowl, in which Carolina is the favorite to win.
