Bills hire former Panthers assistant GM Brandon Beane

The Buffalo Bills have added yet another member of the Carolina Panthers staff this offseason.

Buffalo announced the hiring of former Panthers assistant general manager Brandon Beane Tuesday evening as the team’s 13th general manager in franchise history.

Beane joins new Bills head coach Sean McDermott, wide receiver Philly Brown, fullback Mike Tolbert and cornerback Leonard Johnson in Buffalo.

McDermott and Beane spent six seasons together with the Panthers.

Beane was one of four candidates considered for the position, and the only candidate invited back for a second interview, according a team release.
