Quarterbacks coach Jacob Peetz and offensive assistant D.J. Mangas are leaving the Carolina Panthers to take higher level jobs with LSU, per the team. Peetz is leaving to become the offensive coordinator while Mangas has accepted a role as their passing game coordinator.
Peetz joined Ron Rivera’s last staff in Carolina Panthers as a running backs coach in 2019. He was retained by Matt Rhule and Joe Brady with a switch to quarterbacks coach this season and was one of the few coaches on the offensive staff who didn’t join the Panthers from either LSU or Baylor.
