The Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills have entered into an odd relationship that is essentially the NFL equivalent of marriage. While 30 NFL teams exist outside of Charlotte and Buffalo, these two franchises seem to be exclusive. The relationship is so entrenched that the Bills have reportedly considered changing their name to Carolina North.
In all of my years following professional sports, I’ve never seen two teams have as many transactions between them as the Panthers and Bills have generated over the last 15 months. Take a look:
