CHARLOTTE – Linebacker Luke Kuechly and guard Andrew Norwell were named to the 2017 Associated Press All-Pro team.
“That’s awesome,” head coach Ron Rivera said. “I think both those young men deserve it.”
For Kuechly, who led the Panthers with 125 tackles and three interceptions, this is his fourth AP All-Pro team selection. Kuechly was the only Panther voted to this year’s Pro Bowl.
For Norwell, who started all 16 games for the second consecutive season, this is his first AP All-Pro team selection. The former undrafted free agent has developed into one of the most reliable guards in the NFL.
