There are a great many ways people are trying to diminish the 15-1 season the Carolina Panthers had, but no argument is more predictable than the "strength of schedule" argument. You know the one. This states that the Panthers coasted to the playoffs on the wings of a trash schedule that saw them play the NFC East, AFC South and a mediocre NFC South. It's not wholly untrue.
Let's be real: The schedule was favorable and the Panthers took advantage, but don't get suckered in by the out-and-out lie that's being perpetuated where the Seattle Seahawks were playing juggernauts in 2015 by comparison.
