The Carolina Panthers are in need of additional playmakers in the secondary, and according to Todd McShay’s latest mock draft for ESPN (insider required), they find one at No. 24 overall.
24. Carolina Panthers Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado
Oliver has size (6-foot), speed (4.50 40) and length (33½-inch arm span). The Panthers would like to get a playmaker for Cam Newton but might be better served addressing the secondary here and getting better value on Day 2 of the draft.
It’s an interesting selection, for sure.
