Center was definitely an area where we got a good look at both the starter and depth at the position throughout the 2017 season. After Ryan Kalil injured his neck, we saw a long stretch of games where Tyler Larsen played extended time, and we even got a short look at Greg Van Roten as well. Let’s break them down:

The 2017 season marked the second straight year that Ryan Kalil didn’t start more than half the games played. His advanced age and heavy workload throughout his career are clearly starting to wear his body down.
