ESPN analyst Todd McShay's second mock draft of the year saw the Panthers taking a familiar name, local product Kevin Dodd.
Dodd grew-up in Taylors, South Carolina, roughly an hour and a half from Bank of America Stadium.
Similar to Penn States' Ryan Nassib, Dodd spent two seasons in relative obscurity before having a break-out season.
