The Panthers defense will look to improve on an up and down debut performance when Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins come to Bank of America stadium Saturday night.
We're back at with another look at the Panthers defense after a largely mediocre performance against the Bills last Friday night. In the early parts of the game, the Bills dominated possession with long, methodical drives. However, in the second half, the Panthers defense tightened up, stifling the Bills outside of a single 51 yard bomb from EJ Manuel to Deonte Thompson. Unfortunately for Panthers fans, many players on the field during the defense's most successful spells will not be seeing much game action when the real bullets start flying.
